Its official...the City of Savannah has set the dates for the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Festival. The council has designated March 17th, 18th and 19th as the festival days. Remember there will be no gated festival area this year or wristbands.

St. Patrick's Festival on Historic River Street March 17-19
The Savannah Waterfront Association hosts a festival along the waterfront, including River Street from East Broad Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Festivities include games, food, beverages, and live entertainment. The event is free. For 2011 - Wristbands will not be required to consume alcoholic beverages on the plaza and inside River Street businesses.

The Armstrong Irish Studies Club will host the 24th Annual Sebastian Dangerfield St. Patrick’s Week Irish literature talk and coffee reception at noon, Friday, March 11 in the Jenkins Hall Theater on campus. The event is free and the pubic is invited. For more information visit armstrong.edu.
